Job seekers who applied for a position with Parker-Hannifin Corp. or one of its related entities in Washington state between Jan. 1, 2023, and July 3, 2025, may qualify to claim at least $1,398.40 from a class action settlement.

Parker-Hannifin Corp. agreed to pay up to $3.12 million to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging it and its affiliates failed to include wage scales or salary ranges in job postings as required by Washington law.

Who can file a claim?

Class members must meet all of the following criteria:

  • They applied for a job opening with Parker-Hannifin Corp., Exotic Metals Forming Co. LLC, Parker-Seahawk Acquisitions LLC, Total Filtration Services Inc. or Lord Corp.
  • The position was located in Washington state.
  • They submitted their application between Jan. 1, 2023, and July 3, 2025.
  • The job posting they responded to did not include a wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of benefits or other compensation.
  • They applied through the defendants’ websites or authorized third-party recruiting channels on Indeed.com or LinkedIn.

The settlement administrator is using defendants’ records to identify eligible class members.

How much can class members get?

All class members who submit a timely, valid claim form will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. The total settlement fund ranges from $2,041,725.50 to $3,118,500, depending on the number of valid claims.

The estimated class member payment is at least $1,398.40 up to a maximum of $5,000 depending on the number of valid claims and deductions for attorneys’ fees, costs and service awards. This payment is considered nonwage damages and will be reported on a 1099 form.

How to claim a class action rebate

Class members can file a claim online or download and print a PDF claim form, fill it out and mail or email it to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is Oct. 17, 2025.
