Individuals who applied for a job with Classic Collision LLC in Washington between Jan. 1, 2023, and Feb. 13, 2026, may be eligible to receive a cash payment from a class action settlement.

Classic Collision LLC agreed to pay $583,700 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to disclose wage scales or salary ranges in job postings as required by Washington law. There are approximately 449 class members.

Who are the class members?

Individuals must meet all of the following criteria:

  • They applied for at least one job opening in Washington with Classic Collision LLC between Jan. 1, 2023, and Feb. 13, 2026.
  • They responded to a job posting that did not properly disclose the wage scale or salary range for the position or a general description of benefits and other compensation.

The settlement administrator used the defendant’s records to identify eligible class members.

How much can class members receive?

The total settlement fund is $583,700. After deducting attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses, service awards and administrative costs, the settlement administrator will divide the remaining amount equally among all eligible class members.

After 180 days, the settlement administrator will send any unclaimed funds to the state of Washington as unclaimed property. It will donate any residual funds after it makes all payments to the Legal Foundation of Washington.

The settlement administrator will characterize payments as nonwage damages and report them on IRS Form 1099.

No action needed to receive payment

Eligible class members do not need to file a claim to receive their payment. They will automatically receive a payment by mail or, if their address is not available, through an electronic payment service, such as PayPal or Venmo.

To ensure receipt of payment, class members should confirm that the settlement administrator has their current mailing address. They can update their address by contacting the settlement administrator at info@EPOASettlement-Feb-13-2026.com or calling 888-369-3780. They can also complete and mail or email the address form included with their settlement notice to the settlement administrator.

Those who wish to be exclude themselves from the settlement must mail a written request to the settlement administrator by April 13, 2026.

When is the Hill v. Classic Collision LLC payout date?

The settlement administrator will send payments to eligible class members approximately 44 days after the court resolves any appeals and grants final approval of the settlement.

Why did this class action settlement happen?

The class action lawsuit alleged Classic Collision LLC failed to include wage scales or salary ranges in job postings for positions in Washington as required by the state’s Equal Pay and Opportunities Act (RCW 49.58.110).

The company denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the risks and costs of continued litigation.
