Myers Auto Group Data Breach Class Action Settlement

Individuals who received notice that their private information was compromised in the May 2025 Myers Auto Group data breach, may be eligible to submit a claim for a cash payment and free credit monitoring from a class action settlement. The cybersecurity incident compromised an estimated 4,200 people.

Myers Auto Group LLC has agreed to pay to settle a class action lawsuit for alleged failures to protect consumer data during a targeted cyberattack. The incident exposed sensitive personal information, including names, contact details, dates of birth and government identification numbers such as Social Security or driver’s license numbers.

Who can file a claim for a data breach payout?

Class members are individuals whose private information was compromised in the Myers Auto Group data breach that occurred in May 2025.

How much is the settlement payout?

• Pro rata cash payment: Class members can submit to receive a pro rata share of a $15,000 settlement fund. Final payment amount will be determined by the number of claims filed.

To receive a cash payment, class members can file a claim online or print a PDF claim form to complete and mail or email to the settlement administrator.

Data breach settlement fund breakdown

When is the Myers Auto Group settlement payout date?

Why was there a class action settlement?

The class action lawsuit was filed after a targeted cyberattack on Myers Auto Group’s computer systems in May 2025. Plaintiffs alleged that the company failed to adequately protect private information, resulting in unauthorized access to files containing personal and sensitive data.
