JSP International Group Ltd. agreed to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to adequately safeguard private information, which unauthorized third parties accessed between Dec. 26 and Dec. 28, 2024.
Who can file a claim?
The class action settlement is open to all individuals whose private information JSP International Group Ltd. identified as potentially accessed, compromised or impacted in connection with the December 2024 incident.

How much can class members get?
- Ordinary losses (up to $300): This includes out-of-pocket expenses incurred as a result of the incident, such as:
- Unreimbursed bank fees
- Card reissuance fees
- Overdraft fees
- Charges related to the unavailability of funds
- Late fees
- Over-limit fees
- Charges from banks or credit card companies
- Reasonable expenses related to tax remediation
- Fees for credit reports
- The cost of purchasing credit monitoring or identity theft insurance products between Dec. 26, 2024, and Aug. 25, 2025
- Up to three hours of time spent dealing with the incident, compensated at $20 per hour (maximum $60)
- Extraordinary losses (up to $3,000): These are actual, documented and unreimbursed monetary losses associated with identity theft, fraud or other misuse of personal information, provided that:
- The loss is documented and unreimbursed
- The class member provides verifiable third-party proof that the incident caused the loss
- The class member made reasonable efforts to avoid the loss or seek reimbursement, including exhausting all available credit or identity monitoring insurance
- The loss occurred between Dec. 26, 2024, and Dec. 1, 2025
- Credit monitoring: All class members may claim two years of three-bureau credit monitoring with identity theft insurance.
The settlement fund for class member payments is subject to a minimum of $50,000 and a maximum of $100,000 not including administrative costs, attorneys’ fees or service awards.
If total valid claims are less than $50,000, the settlement administrator will increase each payment proportionally so the total reaches $50,000. If total valid claims exceed $100,000, the settlement administrator will reduce each payment so the total does not exceed $100,000.
How to claim a class action payment
Class members can submit the online claim form or download, print, complete and mail the PDF claim form to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is Dec. 1, 2025.

Is proof or documentation required to submit a claim?
- For ordinary loss claims, class members must provide documentation of expenses, such as receipts and bank statements.
- For extraordinary loss claims, class members must provide documentation of the loss, proof of causation and evidence of efforts to obtain reimbursement.
- For time spent claims, class members must describe and attest to the activities.
- For credit monitoring claims, class members need only select the appropriate option.
