Renkim Corporation, a Michigan-based provider of print and electronic mail solutions, experienced a data breach affecting several thousand across the United States. According to disclosures filed, a total of 46,864 individuals were affected, including 1,076 South Carolina residents, 466 Texans, 231 in Massachusetts, three New Hampshire residents and seven Mainers.
According to the Notice of Data Security Incident posted on the Renkim website, the data breach was detected on March 3, 2025. The cybersecurity incident exposed personally identifiable information (PII), which may have included date of birth, Social Security number, contact information, client name, client account number and dates of service.
The cybersecurity incident was disclosed to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on June 2, 2025. The data breach was also reported to the Maine, Texas, South Carolina, Vermont, Massachusetts, California and New Hampshire Attorney Generals' offices beginning on June 2, 2025.
