







LGAA, a company providing data hosting services for the Leavitt Group insurance brokerage, experienced a data breach. On Feb. 20, 2025, the company detected problematic activity within its computer network used for data migrations. An investigation revealed that a unauthorized actor gained access to the network on Feb. 20, 2025 and may have copied files containing sensitive information.
The exact customer information compromised has not been publicly disclosed, but may include names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, insurance policy information, insurance claim information and financial account information. LGAA began notifying affected individuals by mail on Nov. 7, 2025.
The data breach was also reported to the Maine Attorney General, California Attorney General, and Montana Attorney General on Nov. 7, 2025. The total number of affected individuals in the United States was not specified in public disclosures.
In response to the breach, LGAA deleted the affected files from its network and implemented additional cybersecurity measures. The company is offering affected individuals free identity monitoring services for 12 months through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company. This service includes single-bureau credit monitoring, credit reports, credit scores, and proactive fraud assistance.
