







Mortgage lender Intelliloan, Inc. has experienced a data breach exposing several types of customer information. The company discovered unauthorized activity on its internal network on March 29, 2025. On March 31, 2025, the RansomHub ransomware group publicly claimed responsibility for infiltrating Intelliloan’s systems.
This incident exposed a wide range of sensitive personally identifiable information (PII). The compromised data included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, government-issued ID numbers (such as passports or state ID cards), financial account numbers (including credit or debit card numbers), and dates of birth.
A cybersecurity incident disclosure was filed with the Texas Attorney General’s office on May 30, 2025, reporting at least 389 Texas residents impacted. The data breach was also reported to the California Attorney General's office and the Massachusetts Attorney General on Sept. 26, 2025.
Intelliloan has begun notifying impacted individuals by mail. The total number affected has not been released, but is believed to include several thousand account holders.
In response to the cyberattack, Intelliloan secured its computer network and notified law enforcement. In addition to required state and federal disclosures, the mortgage lender is offering impacted individuals free TransUnion Cyberscout credit monitoring and identity restoration services.
