On January 25, 2025, Deed Research, Inc.—a Nebraska-based provider of title and escrow services—discovered suspicious activity on its servers. The company promptly initiated its incident response protocols and brought in independent computer forensic specialists to investigate. Through this investigation, it was determined that certain documents had been exfiltrated from the company’s systems.
