After launching an investigation with the help of independent computer forensic specialists, the company determined that certain documents had been taken from its system. By April 2, 2025, Deed Research learned that some personal information belonging to consumers may have been impacted.
The company notified affected individuals in writing on May 20, 2025. The breach was reported to the Maine Attorney General on May 3, 2025, and to the New Hampshire Attorney General on May 8, 2025.
