Venetian Las Vegas $1.6 Million Website Privacy Settlement

California residents who, while in California, accessed or navigated the Venetian Las Vegas website or made a reservation for a Venetian hotel stay through VenetianLasVegas.com between Sept. 18, 2024, and March 16, 2026, may be eligible to claim a cash payment from a class action settlement.

Venetian Las Vegas Gaming agreed to pay $1.6 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it disclosed website users’ guest record information and confidential communications to third parties without permission in violation of the California Invasion of Privacy Act.

Who can file a claim?

There are two settlement class groups:

• Browsing settlement class: This class includes California residents who, while in California between Sept. 18, 2024, and March 16, 2026, accessed or navigated the Venetian Las Vegas website (VenetianLasVegas.com). The settlement administrator identified approximately 996,705 potential class members in this group and will reserve $668,286.50 of the total settlement fund for payments to this class.
• Booking settlement class: This class includes California residents who, while in California during the same period, made a reservation for a Venetian hotel stay through the Venetian Las Vegas website. The settlement administrator identified approximately 35,159 potential class members in this group and will reserve $931,713.50 of the total settlement fund for payments to this class.

Some individuals may belong to both classes if they both browsed the website and made a reservation during the specified timeframe.

How much is the Venetian Las Vegas payout?

Class members who submit valid claims are eligible for a cash payment. The amount depends on which class they belong to and the number of valid claims submitted.

• Booking settlement class: Estimated payment is approximately $71.39 per valid claimant.
• Browsing settlement class: Estimated payment is approximately $3.60 per valid claimant.

How to claim a class action payment

Eligible class members must submit an online claim form or print and complete the PDF claim form and mail it to the settlement administrator.

The deadline to file a claim is Nov. 24, 2026.

Required information

• Class members using the online claim form must supply the unique ID and PIN they received in their settlement notice.
• Claimants must attest they are California residents who, while in California, either accessed/navigated the Venetian Las Vegas website or made a reservation through the site during the relevant period. They do not need to provide additional documentation unless the settlement administrator requests it.

When is the Venetian Las Vegas payout date?

The settlement administrator will issue payments to eligible class members within 45 days after the court resolves any appeals and grants final approval of the settlement.

Why did this class action settlement happen?

This lawsuit alleged Venetian Las Vegas Gaming disclosed website users’ guest record information and confidential communications to third parties without consent, violating the California Invasion of Privacy Act.

Venetian denied any wrongdoing but agreed to the settlement to avoid the risks and expenses of continued litigation.
