Individuals who purchased an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max or any iPhone 16 model, between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025 for personal or business use in the United States, may be eligible to submit a claim for $25 to $95 per device from a class action settlement.

Apple Inc. has agreed to pay $250 million to settle a class action lawsuit that alleged the company failed to provide certain Siri Apple Intelligence features that consumers expected when purchasing specific iPhone models. The plaintiffs claimed Apple's actions violated multiple consumer protection laws.

Who can file a claim for an Apple iPhone settlement payout?

Class members must meet the following criteria:

  • They purchased one of these qualifying iPhones in the United States between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025:
    • iPhone 15 Pro
    • iPhone 15 Pro Max
    • iPhone 16
    • iPhone 16e
    • iPhone 16 Plus
    • iPhone 16 Pro
    • iPhone 16 Pro Max
  • The device was purchased for for personal or business use, and not for resale.

How much are settlement payments?

Cash payment: Class members can submit a claim to receive a pro rata cash payment estimated at $25 to $95 per qualifying device. The final payment amount will be determined by the total number of claims filed.

How to claim a class action rebate

In order to receive a settlement payment, a claim form must be submitted for each qualifying device. Class members can file a claim online or print and complete the PDF claim form, and mail it to the settlement administrator.

The claim deadline is Dec. 21, 2026.

Required claim information

Class members must include one of the following on each claim form:

  • Device serial number: Found in Settings > General > About, on the original packaging or on the purchase receipt/invoice
  • If the serial number is not available, claimants must provide their Apple account email address and the phone number associated with the iPhone

  • Paper check mailed to the address provided

Settlement fund breakdown

The $250,000,000 settlement fund will include:

  • Settlement administration costs: Not to exceed $5,444,056
  • Attorneys’ fees and costs: To be submitted to the court for approval at a later date
  • Service awards to class representatives: Up to $2,000 each
  • Payments to claimants: Remaining settlement funds

When is the Apple iPhone false advertising settlement payout date?

Payments will be issued to approved claimants within 90 days of the final approval date or as soon as practicable after claim processing is completed.

Why did this class action settlement happen?

The class action lawsuit alleged that Apple failed to deliver certain Siri Apple Intelligence features that purchasers expected when buying specific iPhone models. Plaintiffs claimed this violated various state consumer protection laws.

Apple denies the allegations, however agreed to settle to avoid the expense and risk of continued litigation and a possible trial.
