
Consumers who purchased Sealy-branded bedding products labeled as having a 1250-thread count, such as bedsheets or pillowcases, anywhere in the United States between Oct. 19, 2016, and Oct. 30, 2025, may be eligible to submit a claim up for to $5 per product from a class action settlement.
American Textile Co. Inc. agreed to pay $750,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it falsely advertised, labeled and marketed the thread count of certain Sealy bedding products, including those sold under the names “Ultimate Indulgence,” “Premium Comfort,” “Cool Comfort,” “Premium Cooling” and “Superior Cooling.” The class action claimed the company falsely promoted these products as having a 1250-thread count in violation of federal and state consumer protection laws.
Who can file a claim?
Class members must meet the following criteria:
- They purchased one or more Sealy bedding products with a 1250-thread count listed on the packaging.
- They made the purchase anywhere in the United States between Oct. 19, 2016, and Oct. 30, 2025.
Eligible products include, but are not limited to, the following bedding lines:
- Ultimate Indulgence
- Premium Comfort
- Cool Comfort
- Premium Cooling
- Superior Cooling
How much is the false advertising class action payment?
Class members can claim $5 for each eligible product purchased during the class period. Class members have the following options:
- No proof of purchase: Class members can claim up to eight product purchases with no proof of purchase for a maximum of $40 per household.
- Proof of purchase: Class members with documented proof of purchase can claim an unlimited number of products at $5 each.
- Both: Class members can claim purchases without proof of purchase and purchases with proof of purchase and will be paid for the total amount of the combined claim.
How to claim a class action rebate
To receive a settlement payment, consumers must submit a claim form by May 12, 2026. They can file a claim online or download and print the PDF claim form to mail to the settlement administrator.

When is the Sealy thread count settlement payout date?
