Who are the class members?

Class members include:

  • Individuals who applied for a job opening with Eigen Labs Inc. in Washington state between Jan. 1, 2023, and July 26, 2025
  • Applicants who provided a U.S. location in their application
  • Applicants whose job posting did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of benefits for the position

How much can class members receive?

The total settlement fund is $1,000,000. After deducting attorneys’ fees and costs, service awards and administration costs, the settlement administrator will divide the remainder equally among all eligible class members.

Each eligible class member who does not opt out will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. The estimated payment is $1,526.40 per person, but the final amount may vary depending on settlement costs and the number of valid claims.

The settlement administrator will report payments as nonwage damages on a 1099 form.

No action needed to receive payment

Eligible class members do not need to file a claim to receive their payment. The settlement administrator will automatically mail each class member's payment to the address on file. Class members can update their mailing address by contacting the settlement administrator.

Why is there a class action settlement?
