Why is there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged Siemens and its related entities violated Washington law by failing to disclose wage scales or salary ranges in job postings. The plaintiff claimed this omission violated RCW 49.58.110, which requires such disclosures.
Siemens denied any wrongdoing or liability but agreed to settle to avoid the uncertainty, risk and expense of continued litigation.
