Why was there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged unauthorized parties accessed portions of Leaders Staffing’s computer network, potentially compromising sensitive personal information. The plaintiffs claimed Leaders Staffing did not adequately protect this information.
While Leaders Staffing denies any wrongdoing, both sides agreed to settle to avoid the costs and risks of further litigation and to provide compensation to affected individuals.
