Blackhawk Medical Transportation Inc. and ATG Management Services Inc. agreed to pay $420,750 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it violated the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. The lawsuit claimed the companies collected employee fingerprints using a time clock without first obtaining written consent and failed to provide a public retention policy for biometric data.
