Why is there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged the defendants' negligence resulted in Hard Rock Stadium denying valid ticket holders entry to the stadium or admitted them but denied full access to stadium facilities or their purchased seats during the 2024 Copa America final match.
The defendants deny any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of further litigation and a possible trial.
