What happened?
On July 29, 2025, S.V.D.P. Management discovered that a major data breach had occurred. An investigation took place and it was determined that certain personal information may have been accessed or acquired without authorization between Sept. 26, 2024, and Oct. 12, 2024.
The organization began notifying affected individuals by mail on Aug. 29, 2025. The breach was also disclosed to the California, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Washington and Vermont Attorneys Generals' offices between Aug. 29, 2025 and Sept. 3, 2025.

At least 3,893 Washington residents, 18 Maine residents, 68 Massachusetts residents, 11 in New Hampshire and 19 Rhode Island residents were impacted by the breach. The total number of people involved in the cybersecurity incident has not been released.
