Who can file a claim?

How much can class members get?
The settlement offers two main options for compensation:
- Option A: Reimbursement and services
- Ordinary losses: Reimbursement for documented out-of-pocket expenses up to $400. Eligible expenses include fees for credit reports; costs for credit monitoring, freezing/unfreezing credit and replacing IDs; and postage for contacting banks. These expenses must have occurred between April 13, 2024, and July 30, 2026.
- Lost time: Compensation for up to four hours of lost time spent responding to the data incident at $20 per hour (maximum $80). This includes time spent changing passwords, investigating suspicious activity or researching the incident. If combined with ordinary losses, the total is capped at $400.
- Extraordinary losses: Reimbursement for losses due to identity theft or fraud up to $3,000. To qualify, class members must show the data incident likely caused the loss, that it is not already covered by ordinary losses and that they tried to recover the loss (for example, through insurance). Documentation is required. These losses must have occurred between April 13, 2024, and July 30, 2026.
- Credit monitoring services: Two years of CyEx Financial Shield Complete, which includes $1 million in financial fraud insurance and monitoring for identity theft, unauthorized financial transactions and high-risk activity.
- Option B: Alternative cash payment
- Class members who do not wish to claim the above benefits may instead claim a one-time $45 cash payment. No documentation is required.
