What Happened?

In December 2024, Graebel Companies, Inc. experienced a significant cybersecurity incident that disrupted certain computer systems and services. The company discovered the breach on Oct. 24, 2025, and reported it to the Maine Attorney General's office on Nov. 10, 2025.

According to the official notice, unauthorized access to Graebel’s network occurred between Dec. 19, 2024, and Dec. 22, 2024. During this time, certain files were accessed or taken from the company’s systems. After a thorough investigation, Graebel notified potentially impacted clients and began informing affected individuals by written notice starting Nov. 10, 2025.
