On Oct. 24, 2025, the corporate relocation company, Graebel Companies Inc., discovered what they are calling a cybersecurity incident that impacted its systems. The breach occurred between Dec. 19 and Dec. 22, 2024. During this period, unauthorized actors accessed or took certain files from Graebel’s network.

Following an investigation, the company determined that some client and employee information was involved, though the specific types of information exposed have not been detailed in the public disclosure.

The breach affected an undisclosed number of individuals in the United States. However, according to the Maine Attorney General’s office disclosure, 15 Maine residents were directly impacted.

The company notified affected individuals in writing beginning on Nov. 10, 2025. While the exact nature of the consumer information exposed remains unspecified, Graebel’s notice emphasizes that the company is acting out of an abundance of caution.

Graebel Companies' response

For those affected, Graebel is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection services for 24 months through TransUnion. Impacted individuals are encouraged to enroll in these services and to remain vigilant by monitoring account statements and credit reports for suspicious activity.

The company’s notice provides detailed steps on how to enroll in credit monitoring, how to place a fraud alert or credit freeze, and where to find further information about identity theft protection. These resources are designed to help individuals safeguard their personal information in the wake of the breach.
