Issaqueena Pediatric Dentistry Data Breach Impacts 55,251 Individuals

Issaqueena Pediatric Dentistry, a pediatric dental practice headquartered in Seneca, South Carolina, disclosed a data breach resulting from a criminal cyberattack that affected at least 55,251 South Carolina residents.

The breach was disclosed to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on Feb. 4, 2026. The practice posted a notice on its website.

The breach was the result of a ransomware attack on the practice's computer systems. On Nov. 24, 2025, a ransomware group known as Interlock claimed responsibility for the attack in a posting on the dark web. The group stated that it had obtained more than 118 GB of data from the practice.

Issaqueena Pediatric Dentistry was subject to a criminal cyberattack that impacted its systems. With assistance from third-party cybersecurity experts, the practice took steps to secure its systems and begin an investigation into the incident.

On or about July 1, 2026, the practice determined that the incident may have impacted personal and medical information belonging to affected individuals.

The types of information exposed included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state identification numbers, financial account information, medical treatment information and health insurance information.

Issaqueena Pediatric Dentistry's response to the breach

The practice is offering at least 12 months of free credit monitoring and related services through Epiq. This monitoring can help individuals and families detect early signs of identity theft or unauthorized use of their information.

Affected individuals, including parents and guardians of minors who may have been patients, can call a dedicated call center at 888-780-4945 to find out whether their information was involved. The call center is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding holidays.
