
Between April 27, 2025, and July 4, 2025, Consero Global Solutions, a financial services company, experienced a data breach exposing sensitive personal information of individuals associated with the company’s services. The cyberattack affected at least 9,268 individuals, including 20 people in Maine, 1,007 in Washington, 287 in Massachusetts and 482 in Texas, with the remainder spread across other states.
Consero recently disclosed unauthorized activity was identified on its network that exposed sensitive personal information, which may include names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth and Social Security numbers. The exposure of PII puts individuals at risk for identity theft. The company is notifying impacted individuals by mail.
The breach was disclosed to the Montana Attorney General on Oct. 11, 2025, the Texas Attorney General's office on Oct. 17, 2025, and the California, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont and Washington Attorney Generals' offices on Oct. 23, 2025.
After detecting the breach, the company confirmed the security of its systems, reinforced existing security posture, reviewed the contents of relevant data for sensitive information and notified potentially affected individuals.
In response to the cybersecurity event, Consero is offering complimentary Cyberscout credit monitoring services for 12 months to support all impacted individuals, which includes dark web monitoring, identity protection services and identity theft insurance.
