On April 27, 2025, Consero Global Solutions experienced a data breach that resulted in the exposure of sensitive personal information.

According to a disclosure filed with the California Attorney General, the breach involved unauthorized access to the names and Social Security numbers of individuals associated with the company’s services.

Consero Global Solutions' response

In response to the breach, Consero Global Solutions has taken several steps to support those affected. The company is offering complimentary Single Bureau Credit Monitoring services for 12 months, which include real-time alerts when changes occur to an individual’s credit file. In addition, affected individuals will receive dark web monitoring, identity protection services, identity resolution support, and up to $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance. These services are being provided by Cyberscout, a TransUnion company specializing in fraud assistance and remediation.

To access these services, affected individuals are instructed to enroll online within 90 days of receiving their notification letter. The enrollment process requires an internet connection and an email account, and may not be available to minors under 18. For those with questions or in need of assistance, a dedicated help line is available at 1-833-519-0389 for 90 days from the date of the notification.

Given the exposure of Social Security numbers, it is important for those affected to remain vigilant. Monitoring credit reports for suspicious activity, placing fraud alerts, and considering a security freeze are all recommended steps. Additional guidance on these measures is provided in the company’s consumer notice, which is available in PDF format at the bottom of this article’s page.
