Corporation Service Co., widely known as CSC, disclosed a data breach that exposed Social Security numbers.

The breach was reported to the Vermont Attorney General on Aug. 13, 2026.

On Oct. 21, 2025, CL0P posted a claim on the Tor network asserting that it had obtained data belonging to CSC. The dark web claim by CL0P appeared approximately 10 months before the breach was formally reported to state regulators.
