Consumers who purchased a mattress in the United States between Oct. 1, 2017, and June 30, 2024, that Resident Home LLC, Ashley Furniture Industries LLC or Ashley Global Retail LLC manufactured, produced or sold and that contained fiberglass as a fire-retardant material may be eligible to claim a voucher from a class action settlement.
Ashley Furniture Industries LLC, Ashley Global Retail LLC and Resident Home LLC agreed to pay $9 million to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging fiberglass could escape from the mattress cover or be released if the consumer removed the cover, resulting in economic loss, property damage or physical harm.

How much can class members get?
Pro rata payment: Eligible class members who submit a valid and timely claim will receive a voucher for use on a single purchase at one of the following websites: www.AshleyFurniture.com, www.NectarSleep.com, www.DreamCloudSleep.com or www.SienaSleep.com. There is no minimum purchase required to use the voucher.
Each class member is entitled to one voucher per affected mattress purchased. The settlement administrator will determine the value of each voucher by dividing the $9 million settlement fund by the total number of valid claims submitted.

Why is there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged Ashley Furniture Industries LLC, Ashley Global Retail LLC and Resident Home LLC sold certain mattresses that contained fiberglass as a fire-retardant material, which could escape from the mattress and cause economic, property or physical harm. The plaintiffs claimed the companies failed to warn consumers and violated various consumer protection and warranty laws.
The defendants denied all allegations but agreed to settle to avoid the risks and costs of continued litigation.
