Why is there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged an unauthorized third party accessed the private information of Casino Fandango customers in June 2024. The plaintiffs claimed Casino Fandango failed to adequately protect their personal information.
The defendant denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the costs and risks of continuing litigation. The settlement provides compensation and credit monitoring to affected individuals while allowing Casino Fandango to resolve the claims without admitting liability.
