What Happened?
On Feb. 13, 2025, Terra Holdings discovered suspicious activity on certain systems within its environment. The company launched an investigation with the help of third-party forensic specialists to determine the nature and scope of the incident.
The investigation revealed that certain files were accessed or taken without authorization between Feb. 11, 2025, and Feb. 13, 2025.
It was not until Jan. 26, 2026, that specialists identified the individuals whose information may have been impacted.
Starting on Feb. 12, 2026, the breach was reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and to the Vermont Attorney General on Feb. 13, 2026.
In Massachusetts alone, 143 people were reported as affected. The total number of people affected has not been released.
