Arizona Labor Force Inc. agreed to pay $300,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it failed to protect private information during a targeted cyberattack in January 2023. The lawsuit claims an unauthorized party accessed files containing names, addresses, financial history and/or Social Security numbers during the incident.
Who can file a claim?
The settlement class includes all United States residents whose personally identifiable information the January 2023 Arizona Labor Force Inc. and Labor Systems Inc. data incident may have compromised.
If Arizona Labor Force’s records indicate the breach involved a person’s information, the settlement administrator considers that person a class member. Class members may have received a direct notice from Arizona Labor Force regarding the breach but receiving a notice is not required to be eligible.
How much is the Arizona Labor Force payout?
Each eligible class member who submits a valid claim form can receive an equal cash payment from the net settlement fund. The payment is expected to be $25, but the actual amount may be higher or lower depending on the total number of valid claims filed.

- Payments to approved class members: remainder of the fund after the above deductions
