What Happened?

Onyx was the victim of a ransomware attack by the group known as CL0P. The incident was first posted on the dark web on Jan. 21, 2026, with the attackers claiming to have obtained company data.

The breach was later disclosed to the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office on April 2, 2026. So far, six Massachusetts residents were affected.

According to the notice sent to affected individuals, the breach may have involved sensitive personal information. At this time, knowledge of how and when the breach occured are limited.
