Alliance Environmental Group LLC, an environmental remediation and indoor air quality services company headquartered in Azusa, California, disclosed a data breach that occurred in Spring 2026.

Founded in 1995, the company is described as one of the leading environmental contractors on the West Coast, with operations across California, Arizona, Nevada and Washington.

The breach was reported to the California Attorney General on Sept. 15, 2026. Alliance Environmental Group mailed consumer notification letters on Sept. 15, 2026.

Upon detecting the suspicious network activity on May 7, 2026, Alliance Environmental Group took steps to secure its systems and launched an investigation into the nature and scope of the incident.

The investigation determined that certain files stored on the company's systems were accessed or acquired without authorization. The period of unauthorized access spanned from April 24, 2026, through May 7, 2026.

Alliance Environmental Group additionally conducted a comprehensive review of the affected files to determine what personal information was present and which individuals were impacted. The review was completed on Aug. 17, 2026.

The personal information involved in the breach included names and other publicly undisclosed personal information.

Alliance Environmental Group's response to the breach

Alliance Environmental Group is providing affected individuals with complimentary access to Experian IdentityWorks credit monitoring and identity protection services.

Affected individuals can activate their membership by visiting the Experian IdentityWorks enrollment page and entering the unique activation code included in their notification letter. The enrollment deadline is Dec. 31, 2026.

Individuals who have questions about the breach or need assistance can call 833-918-5861, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time, excluding major U.S. holidays. Individuals may also write to the company at 777 North Georgia Ave., Azusa, CA 91702.
