In January 2025, Newk's Holding Company experienced a network disruption that impacted its ability to access certain systems. An investigation revealed that unauthorized access or acquisition of sensitive data took place between Jan. 19, 2025, and Jan. 26, 2025.
On Oct. 28, 2025, the company began notifying impacted consumers in writing. At least 2,664 individuals were impacted by the data breach, which may include current and former employees.
