What happened?

DRT LLC experienced a cybersecurity incident that impacted thousands of individuals. On May 29, 2025, an unauthorized party gained remote access to several DRT-owned email accounts and accessed files containing personally identifiable information (PII).

The company reported the breach to the Maine and Texas Attorney Generals' offices beginning on July 9, 2025, and began notifying affected individuals in writing on July 10, 2025. At least 14,470 people in the United States were affected, including 1,025 Texas residents and five individuals in Maine.
