Who are the class members?
The class includes both current and former customers or individuals residing in the United States who received a notice letter from Rusnak Corp. stating the June 2023 data incident compromised their private information.
Individuals who were California residents at the time of the data incident may be eligible for a higher cash payment.
How much is the Rusnak payout?
- Extraordinary expense reimbursement: Class members who suffered actual, documented and unreimbursed monetary losses as a result of the data breach may claim up to $3,500. The losses must have occurred between June 13, 2023, and Oct. 23, 2025.
- Cash payment options: Class members can claim one of the following:
- $75 cash payment (available to all class members)
- $150 cash payment (available to class members who were California residents at the time of the breach and who attest to their residency)
- Identity theft protection and credit monitoring: All class members can claim three years of credit monitoring, which includes up to $1 million in identity theft insurance.

What proof or documentation is required to submit a claim?
- To file an online claim, class members must log in with their unique ID and PIN found on the settlement notice they received. Those who misplaced their notice or are unable to locate their ID and PIN should contact the settlement administrator at 833-380-6954 or info@RusnakCorpSettlement.com and provide their full name and mailing address.
- For reimbursement of extraordinary expenses, class members must provide documentation, such as receipts, bank statements or correspondence showing the loss and attempts to recover it. Self-prepared documents alone are not sufficient.
- For the cash payment and credit monitoring, class members need to attest to their eligibility and select the appropriate option.
