In August 2023, Amgen Inc. experienced a significant data breach through its service provider, Sirva Relocation, LLC. On September 29, 2023, Sirva detected suspicious activity on its network. An investigation revealed that unknown actors accessed certain Sirva systems between August 16, 2023, and October 17, 2023, during which they copied certain files.

On August 8, 2024, Sirva informed Amgen that some of the data related to Amgen personnel might have been impacted.
