The insurance program administrator, Integrated Specialty Coverages (ISC), has experienced a major data breach affecting at over nintey thousand individuals. An investigation revealed an unauthorized actor accessed the ISC network between Feb. 16 and Feb. 19, 2025.

The data breach compromised files containing both personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI). Consumers that had their information provided to ISC by their employer, insurance company or broker in connection with an insurance application or claim, are affected by the cybersecurity incident.

Compromised information may include names, dates of birth, Social Security number, tax ID number, driver's license or government ID number, biometric data and medical information. The data breach was disclosed to the California, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Montana, Washington and Texas Attorney Generals' offices beginning on July 2, 2025.

While the total number of affected individuals has not been released, there are 90,021 impacted residents in Texas alone.

Integrated Specialty Coverages' response

After discovering the breach, ISC acted quickly to contain the incident. In addition to required state disclosures, ISC began notifying affected individuals on June 18, 2025.

Integrated Specialty Coverages is offering 12 months of free Cyberscout credit monitoring and identity protection services to consumers impacted by the cybersecurity incident.

If you receive notification from ISC, or an insurance company about this breach, you may want to:
