US HealthConnect Inc., a healthcare education and marketing company, experienced a data breach. On Jan. 25, 2025, the company discovered suspicious activity on its internal network. An investigation determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed sensitive personal information stored on the network.

The cybersecurity incident compromised personally identifiable information (PII) of an unknown number of individuals. Exposed information includes names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state ID information and financial information.

US HealthConnect disclosed the data breach to the Massachusetts Attorney General's office and the New Hampshire Attorney General on Sept. 4, 2025. The exposure of Social Security numbers and financial account details significantly increases the risk of identity theft and financial fraud for those affected.

US HealthConnect's response

In addition to required state and federal disclosures, the company began notifying impacted individuals by on Sept. 4, 2025 and is offering free Experian IdentityWorks credit monitoring services.

If you receive a notice from US HealthConnect, or one of its subsidiaries, about this breach, you may want to:

  • Sign up for the free credit monitoring services, offered by the company.
  • Monitor your credit reports and financial accounts for any unusual activity.
  • Be alert for phishing emails or phone calls that may use your exposed information.
  • Consider placing a fraud alert or credit freeze with major credit bureaus.

The company also set up a dedicated assistance line for affected individuals with questions at 833-931-9555, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Central Time. Questions can also be emailed to US HealthConnect at privacy@ushealthconnect.com.
