Integrated Specialty Coverages LLC ("ISC"), a private insurance program administrator headquartered in Carlsbad, California, disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to a third-party cloud platform the company uses for document management. So far, 1,836 Texas residents were impacted.
The breach occurred in June 2026. ISC provides insurance products and underwriting services, and affected individuals' information may have been provided to the company by employers, insurance companies or brokers in connection with insurance applications or claims.
ISC detected suspicious automated access activity associated with a single account on a third-party cloud platform. ISC uses this platform to facilitate electronic document execution and management.
Upon detecting the activity, the company acted to contain it and initiated its incident response protocols.
The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party accessed a single ISC workspace within the cloud platform between June 8, 2026, and June 11, 2026. During that window, the unauthorized party downloaded certain files that were available in the workspace.
ISC stated in its notification that this incident was limited to the third-party vendor environment. The company's own internal network and core systems were not compromised, and there is no evidence of any breach of ISC's internal infrastructure.
The downloaded files contained consumer names, addresses, driver's license numbers, financial information (such as account numbers or credit and debit card numbers) and dates of birth.
The breach was additionally disclosed to the California Attorney General on Aug. 27, 2026. ISC began sending notification letters to affected consumers by U.S. Mail on Aug. 27, 2026.
ISC is offering a complimentary membership to Experian IdentityWorks, a credit and identity monitoring service.
Affected individuals can enroll online at the Experian IdentityWorks website using the personalized activation code included in their notification letter. The deadline to enroll is Nov. 30, 2026, by 11:59 p.m. UTC. Individuals who have questions about the product or need identity restoration assistance related to this incident can contact Experian's customer care team at 855-999-2743, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Central Time, excluding major U.S. holidays.
