On March 22, 2025, Apro, LLC d/b/a United Pacific (Apro) discovered indications that an unauthorized third party had accessed certain company systems. The incident was traced back to a period between February 20, 2025, and March 2, 2025, during which the attacker obtained files containing sensitive information from Apro’s systems.
After an internal investigation and assistance from leading cybersecurity firms, United Pacific confirmed on May 9, 2025, that personal information was compromised.
The types of information exposed include names, addresses, Social Security numbers, income and tax withholdings, and dates of birth.
The breach was reported to the California Attorney General’s office on May 27, 2025, and further details can be found in the official data breach disclosure.
For those affected, United Pacific is offering a complimentary 12-month membership to Experian IdentityWorksSM, which provides identity monitoring, credit reporting, and up to $1 million in identity theft insurance. Impacted individuals are encouraged to enroll in this service and remain vigilant by monitoring their financial accounts and credit reports for any unauthorized activity.
Additional steps such as placing a security freeze or fraud alert on credit files are also recommended.
