Individuals who received a notice from SitusAMC Holdings Corp. that their personal information was involved in a November 2025 data breach may be eligible to claim up to $5,000 for documented losses, a flat cash payment, and other benefits from a class action settlement.

SitusAMC agreed to pay $5.3 million to settle a class action lawsuit regarding a data breach that allegedly exposed sensitive personal information such as names, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers and other identifiers.

Who can file a claim for a data breach payout?

Class members include all individuals in the United States who received notice of the November 2025 data incident. There is also a California subclass for those who resided in California between Nov. 12, 2025, and Nov. 22, 2025.

How much can class members get?

The settlement offers several types of compensation, depending on claimants' circumstances and location. The benefits available include:

  • Documented losses: Class members can claim up to $5,000 for out-of-packet losses related to fraud and/or identity theft, including unreimbursed bank or credit card charges, costs to replace identification, costs for credit reports and costs for credit monitoring or identify theft protection purchased between Nov.12, 2025, and Nov. 6, 2026.
  • Alternate cash payment: Class members who do not submit a documented losses claim can submit a claim to receive a one-time cash payment estimated at $75. The amount may be higher or lower depending on the number of valid claims submitted.
  • California statutory payment: Class members who lived in California between Nov. 12, 2025, and Nov. 22, 2025, may claim an additional $50 payment. This amount may be reduced if there are more claims than funds available for this category.
  • Credit monitoring: All class members automatically receive an enrollment code for one year of free credit monitoring which includes real-time monitoring, dark web scanning, public record monitoring, identity restoration services and $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance with no deductible.

How to claim a settlement payout

Class members can submit the online claim form or download and print the PDF claim form, complete it and mail it to the settlement administrator.

The claim deadline is Nov. 6, 2026.

Class members can submit an enrollment instruction request online using the Login ID and PIN form their settlement notice in order to receive a reminder a reminder email notification with credit monitoring enrollment instructions, once the settlement is final.

  • Documented losses: Claimants must provide third-party documentation such as receipts or bank statements to verify their losses. Self-prepared documents alone are not sufficient.
  • Online claims: Class members filing a claim online must provide the ID and PIN number they received with their settlement notice.

  • Credit monitoring: Cost determined by the number of enrollments
  • Payments to claimants: Remaining settlement funds

When is the SitusAMC Holdings Corp. data breach settlement payout date?
