







On Aug. 22, 2025, Roebbelen Contracting, a construction firm based in Calif., experienced a cybersecurity incident. The number of individuals affected has not been disclosed publicly, but may include current and former employees and contractors. The incident was serious enough to disclose to the California Attorney General's office on Nov. 12, 2025.
Roebbelen recently disclosed unauthorized activity was identified on its network that may have exposed sensitive personal information. Exposed information included names, social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, medical information and health insurance information. The exposure of both PII and PHI, puts individuals at risk for identity theft and medical fraud.
The company is also notifying impacted individuals by mail.
After detecting the breach, Roebbelen engaged external forensic cybersecurity experts to assess the scope of the incident and secure their systems. In addition to the required state disclosures, the company is offering free Experian IdentityWorks identity protection support to all impacted individuals. The credit monitoring includes access to credit reports, credit scores, and real-time alerts for any changes detected on a credit file.
