A data breach involving Propeller Industries, a leading financial services firm, has exposed sensitive information belonging individuals involved with the company. The cybersecurity
incident stemmed from a ransomware attack on Consero Global Solutions, a third-party financial and accounting services provider used by Propeller.

According to a disclosure filed with the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office, the breach was detected by Consero on or around July 4, 2025. An investigation determined that a cyberattack occurred between April 27 and July 4, 2025

During this time, attackers potentially accessed and encrypted files containing personal information from Consero’s business clients, including Propeller Industries. Exposed information included names, addresses and Social Security numbers. Propeller was notified by Consero about the breach on or about Sept. 25, 2025.

Propeller began notifying impacted individuals by mail on Oct. 23, 2025. The total number of people affected by the data breach has not been publicly disclosed, but includes at least 35 New Hampshire residents.

Propeller Industries response

In response to the breach, Consero notified law enforcement and engaged cybersecurity experts to investigate. The company also implemented strengthened security measures, including updated password policies, increased endpoint and device security, deployment of new email and data protection safeguards.

Propeller is offering affected individuals whose Social Security numbers were exposed 12 free months of TransUnion Cyberscout credit monitoring and identity protection services. This also includes dark web monitoring, identity resolution and up to $1 million in identity theft insurance.
