LP Insurance Services, a company that provides benefits and risk management services to a wide array of companies, experience a data breach. The insurance company experienced unauthorized access to several internal email accounts on or around March 7, 2025. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized actor may have accessed or obtained files containing sensitive information during the breach.

A review took place and determined that the cyberattack compromised personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI). Data exposed may include full names in combination with Social Security numbers, dates of birth, U.S. driver license numbers, financial account numbers, financial account access information, passport numbers, dates of death, electronic signatures, medical information and health insurance information.

LP Insurance Services published a notice of data security incident on its website and began notifying affected individuals by mail on Oct. 20, 2025. The combination of breached information puts affected individuals at risk of identity theft and fraud.
