All Star Recruiting Locums, a healthcare staffing company, has experienced a data breach impacting thousands of individuals. On or around Feb. 25, 2025, All Star became aware of unauthorized activity within its network. On June 17, 2025 an investigation revealed that the cybersecurity incident compromised sensitive personal data.
Types of personally identifiable information (PII) that may have been exposed could include Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, names and driver's license or state ID numbers.
All Start Recruiting Locums disclosed the data breach to the Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont Attorney Generals' offices beginning on July 15, 2025. The company also began notifying affected individuals by mail on the same day.
The data breach compromised at least 4,498 individuals, including 106 in Massachusetts and 17 in Maine.
