
Job seekers who applied for employment with Vaco LLC or Vaco Seattle LLC in Washington between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 14, 2025, may qualify to claim an estimated $1,395.28-$5,000 from a class action settlement.
Vaco LLC and Vaco Seattle LLC agreed to pay between $2.05 million and $3.13 million to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging the companies posted job openings in Washington without including required information about wage scales, salary ranges or general descriptions of benefits as mandated by state law.
Who can file a claim?
Class members must meet all of the following criteria:
- They applied for a job opening in the state of Washington with Vaco LLC or Vaco Seattle LLC.
- They submitted their application between Jan. 1, 2023, and Aug. 14, 2025.
- The job posting they responded to did not disclose the wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of all the benefits and other compensation for the position.
The settlement administrator identified potential class members using the companies' records and sent notices to individuals who may be eligible.
How much is the settlement payout?
The settlement fund ranges from $2,052,093.19 to $3,130,650. The minimum amount of $2,052,093.19 represents an estimated 773 participating class members. Each additional participating class member increases the net settlement fund by $1,395.28 to a maximum of $3,130,650.
Each eligible class member who submits a valid claim form by the deadline will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund after deductions for attorneys' fees, administration costs and a service award to the lead plaintiff. The estimated payment per person is $1,395.28 minimum and $5,000 maximum. The final amount depends on the total number of valid claims submitted and the final court-approved deductions.
The payment is classified as nonwage damages and will be reported on a 1099 form.
How to claim a class action payment
Class members can file the online claim form or download, print, complete and mail or email the PDF claim form (Page 25 of the settlement agreement) to the settlement administrator. The claim deadline is Nov. 10, 2025.

Required information
To file an online claim, class members must provide the notice ID and PIN from the settlement notice they received. Those who are unable to locate their ID or PIN should contact the settlement administrator at info@VLEPOSettlement.com or 844-496-1125 and provide their full name and mailing address.
Payout options
- Paper check (expires 120 days after issuance)
Following expiration, the settlement administrator will send any funds from uncashed checks to the state of Washington with the class member's name as unclaimed property.

- Attorneys' fees and costs: $923,542
- Service award to class representative: $20,000

When is the Floyd v. Vaco LLC et al. payout date?

Why did this class action settlement happen?
The class action lawsuit alleged Vaco LLC and Vaco Seattle LLC violated Washington law by failing to include required pay and benefits information in job postings. The plaintiff claimed the companies did not disclose wage scales, salary ranges or general descriptions of benefits in their job advertisements as required by RCW 49.58.110.
The defendants deny any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the uncertainty, risks and costs of litigation.
