The Sheffield Group Data Breach Class Action Settlement

Who can get a payout?

You are eligible to be a class member if you received written notification from Sheffield regarding the data security incident.

The class includes:

• Individuals residing in the United States who were notified by Sheffield of the data breach.
• Those whose personal information may have been accessed during the incident.

How much is the payout per person?

• Pro Rata Cash Payment: The amount is calculated based on the number of valid claims submitted. If, for example, $100,000 remains after other expenses and there are 1,000 valid claims, each claimant would receive $100.
• Out-of-Pocket Expenses: Eligible for reimbursement if expenses were incurred due to the data breach and are documented. This includes bank fees, phone charges, and credit monitoring costs.

Filing a claim
