Why is there a class action settlement?
The class action lawsuit alleged a targeted cyberattack on Tangoe’s computer systems in November 2022 resulted in unauthorized access to files containing sensitive personal information. The plaintiff claimed Tangoe failed to adequately protect this information.
Tangoe denies the allegations but agreed to settle to avoid the expense and risk of further litigation.
