
Consumers who lived in the United States and received notice that the Parksite data breach discovered in January 2024 may have compromised their personal information could be eligible to claim up to $4,600 from a class action settlement.
Parksite Inc. agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging a targeted cyberattack on its computer systems between December 2023 and January 2024 resulted in unauthorized access to files containing sensitive information, including names and Social Security numbers.
Who is eligible to file a claim?
The settlement class includes all individuals residing in the United States whose personal information the Parksite data breach, discovered in January 2024, compromised.
This includes anyone who received a notice of the breach from Parksite.
How much can class members get?
The settlement offers several options for compensation, depending on the class member's circumstances and losses:
- Option 1: Documented losses: Reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses up to $600 incurred as a result of the breach between Dec. 25, 2023, and Dec. 31, 2025, and identity theft or fraud losses up to $4,000 provided the breach likely caused the loss, it is not already covered by other benefits and the class member attempted to recover the loss through other means (such as insurance). This includes compensation for up to three hours of time spent responding to the incident, such as changing passwords or investigating suspicious activity. at $25 per hour for a maximum $75 (under the $600 cap for out-of-pocket expenses).
- Option 2: Alternative cash payment: A flat $35 cash payment requiring no documentation
- Credit monitoring: All class members are eligible for one year of credit monitoring services, which includes $1 million in identity theft protection insurance.
How to claim settlement benefits
Class members can file a claim online or download, print, complete and mail or email a PDF claim form to the settlement administrator. The claim form deadline is Dec. 31, 2025.

Required proof and information
- To file an online claim form, class members must log in with their unique ID and PIN located on the settlement notice they received. Those who are unable to locate their ID and PIN should contact the settlement administrator by emailing info@ParkSiteSettlement.com and providing their full name and mailing address.
- To claim out-of-pocket expenses, class members must provide receipts, statements or other proof of expenses.
- To claim Identity theft or fraud losses, class members must provide bank statements or similar documentation showing the loss and its connection to the breach.
- To claim lost time, class members must provide a brief description of the time spent and attest that it was related to the security incident.
- No documentation is required to claim the alternative payment.
