
Employment seekers who applied for a job in Washington state with Oldcastle APG West Inc. or its related companies between Jan. 1, 2023, and April 28, 2026, and the job posting did not include required wage or benefits information may be eligible to claim an estimated $1,664.40 from a class action settlement.
Oldcastle APG West Inc. and several affiliated companies agreed to pay up to $2.25 million to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging job postings for Washington-based positions failed to include required wage and benefits disclosures as mandated by state law.
Who can file a claim?
Class members must meet all of the following criteria:
- They applied for a job opening in the state of Washington.
- They submitted their application between Jan. 1, 2023, and April 28, 2026.
- The job posting for the position did not include the wage scale or salary range and/or a general description of benefits for the position.
- The application was for a position with any of these companies:

- Central Premix Concrete Products Co.
- Oldcastle Infrastructure Inc.
- Granite Precasting & Concrete
- Primex Manufacturing
- Quality Concrete
- Torrent Resources
- Utility Vault

- Oldcastle Lawn & Garden Inc.

- U.S. Fence Inc.
- MoistureShield Inc.
The settlement administrator will use the defendants' information to identify eligible class members.
How much can class members get?
Eligible class members who submit a valid claim form can receive an estimated payment of $1,664.40. The actual payment may vary depending on the total number of valid claims submitted.
The settlement fund is structured as follows:
- The minimum settlement fund is $1,481,875, which covers up to 450 claimants (50% of the estimated 900 class members).
- For every additional claimant above 450, Oldcastle will increase the fund by $1,706.94 per claimant up to a maximum of $2,250,000.
- Each participating class member will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund up to a maximum of $5,000 per person. The settlement administrator will distribute any amount above this per-person cap to the Legal Foundation of Washington.
How to claim a class action payment
Class members can file a claim online using the unique ID and PIN from the settlement notice they received or download the PDF claim form (page 28 of the settlement agreement), complete it and mail or email it to the settlement administrator.

Payout options
The settlement administrator will mail checks to eligible claimants. They must cash them within 180 days of issuance or the administrator will send them to the state of Washington as unclaimed property.
$2.25 million settlement fund breakdown
The $2,250,000 settlement fund includes:
- Settlement administration costs: Up to $25,000
- Attorneys' fees: $663,750
- Attorneys' expenses: $5,000
- Service award to class representative: $20,000
- Payments to approved class members: Remainder of the fund

When is the Wright v. Oldcastle APG West Inc. payout date?
The settlement administrator will mail payments within 60 days after the court resolves any appeals and grants final approval to the settlement.

The class action lawsuit claimed Oldcastle APG West Inc. and related companies failed to include required wage and benefits information in job postings for Washington-based positions as required by state law.
