NewPro Operating LLC agreed to pay $3.8 million to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging violations of Massachusetts wage and hour laws. The lawsuit claimed NewPro engaged in improper pay practices, including chargebacks, delayed bonus payments, deductions for uniforms and equipment, insufficient mileage reimbursement and noncompliance with paid sick leave requirements.
Who is eligible to file a NewPro claim?
Class members must have worked for NewPro Operating LLC as design consultants (sales representatives) in Massachusetts between Sept. 6, 2020, and April 15, 2025.
How much is the settlement payout?
The total settlement fund is $3.8 million. After deductions for attorneys’ fees, settlement administration costs, a service payment to the named plaintiff and a dispute fund, at least $2,443,333 will be distributed to eligible class members who submit valid claim forms.
The specific amount each class member receives will depend on:
- Reasonable estimates of each class member’s potential damages based on payroll and personnel records
- The number of valid claims submitted
- Any additional funds remaining after a second claims period, which will be redistributed among those who submitted claims

Class members must submit an online claim form by Aug. 25, 2025.
