Hilton Grand Vacations $750,000 Hotel Fees Settlement
Hilton Grand Vacations $750,000 Hotel Fees Settlement

Customers who purchased a hotel room at MarBrisa Carlsbad through the official website between June 3, 2021, and June 17, 2025, and whom the hotel charged fees not included in the advertised price may be eligible to claim a cash payment from a class action settlement.

Hilton Grand Vacations Inc., Hilton Resorts Corp. and Grand Pacific Marbrisa Owners Associations Inc. agreed to pay $750,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging they charged undisclosed fees, including parking fees, that the advertised price of hotel rooms at MarBrisa Carlsbad did not include.

Who are the class members?

Class members must meet all of the following criteria:

  • They purchased a hotel room at MarBrisa Carlsbad through the website www.marbrisacarlsbad.com.
  • They completed the purchase between June 3, 2021, and June 17, 2025.
  • MarBrisa Carlsbad charged any fees it allegedly did not display in the advertised price at the time of purchase, including but not limited to parking fees.

Individuals who received a notification from the settlement administrator are likely included in the class.

How much can class members get?

Each eligible class member will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. The total settlement fund is $750,000; the settlement administrator will reduce this amount by court-approved deductions, including attorneys’ fees, litigation expenses, administrative costs and an incentive award to the class representative.

The settlement administrator will distribute the remaining settlement funds on a pro rata basis to all class members who submit a valid payment election form. The exact amount depends on how many people file for a payment and the final amount left after deductions.

How to claim a settlement payment

To receive a payment, eligible class members must submit an online payment election form or print and complete the PDF payment election form and mail it to the settlement administrator.

Why is there a class action settlement?

The defendants allegedly charged fees, including parking fees, that MarBrisa Carlsbad did not include in the advertised price of hotel rooms. The plaintiff claimed this practice was unfair to consumers.

The defendants denied any wrongdoing but agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of a trial.
